Casa Blanca Lilies
Well, the origin of Casa Blanca is a mystery; there are a few hybridizers claiming to have created
it, but Vletter & DenHaan, in Holland, has been able to collect the breeding royalties for
a long time and probably still is! It is our understanding that the Casa Blanca hybrid lily
is actually from New Zealand. It has been around for a long time, our guess
around 30 to 40 years in commercial production.
Many books are written about this variety, which is, next to Stargazer, one of the most important varieties in 'lily history'.
